Marine Video Response

This video touched me. It made me think about what war is actually like. See I want to enlist in the military after highschool to pay for college. I want to try something like the Navy Seal or the Marines. After watching the video I kind of have a different view on things. It's makes me think about how normal people can go crazy from extreme stress.

In the video he talked about a dream he kept having. A dream where he was looking down a rifle and aiming at another human being. He said that it was like he was there with them, watching their lives flash before their eyes. That part really sunk in. It makes me think that when the time comes and I have to aim down my rifle and kill someone, can I actually do it? I think that I will be able to do it and that makes me question the kind of person I really am.

Finally the picture toward the end of the video was revealing. The picture showed so much sadness. If you looked in the guys eyes you could tell how hurt he was and how bad he felt. I thought about how terrible he felt and how he could still keep moving on. He look so strong to. How he just smoked a cigarette. Hes a Marine.
